Poker Head

Old friends are old friends, but the chips still get counted.

First official character

“Welcome! Rest assured, at least the rules at this table still listen to reason.”

The first opponent you meet in the game, and the familiar face who stays with you the longest throughout your journey.

A crisp suit, four playing cards always neatly arranged, and impeccable dealer etiquette—apart from lacking an actual head, Poker Head is almost everything you would expect from a classic casino dealer.

Polite and unhurried, he greets the next round with a smile whether you have won a fortune or lost your last chip. Of course, nobody knows quite how a playing card manages to smile.

Unlike the eccentric opponents who delight in breaking the rules, Poker Head prefers an honest game of Blackjack. At least, that is what he claims.

However far you travel, however many absurd games you endure, there will always be an old friend willing to play one more hand with you.

An old friend is still an old friend, of course. But he will collect every chip he is owed.
